I am Mamushi Letsoalo and I work for FoschiniData, a division of The Foschini Group, in the Merchandise, Distribution and Planning Department. I studied BSC Computer Science at the University of Cape Town, majoring in Computer Science and Information Systems. I came to The Foschini Group through The Foschini Graduate Programme and I am currently employed
as a Programmer.
I chose The Foschini Graduate Programme, because it provided me with an easy transition from my tertiary education into the working world. As an IT graduate, I am able to learn on the job. In addition, my interaction with the rest of The Foschini Group exposes me to all the other graduate and post-graduate opportunities The Foschini Group has to offer. Various training is provided to equip graduates with the appropriate business and interpersonal skills to ensure a smooth and successful path into the working world.
I find it very exciting to work within the 14 trading companies of The Foschini Group where interaction with the business users is unlimited. At FoschiniData we use ITIL methodology for our change processes, Project Management Office to manage projects, Group Business Analysis (GBA) methodology to gather customers requirements and various other mediums to ensure that our quality of delivery is efficient, cost-effective and usable.
