I completed my B.Comm Honours in Industrial Psychology at UWC. I graduated in 2006 and started The Foschini Trainee Programme in January 2007. The first three months I spent with my coach in Sportscene Promenade where I was exposed to the functional areas of operations: sales, driving turnover, promoting new accounts, recruitment, training, disciplinary procedures, admin, stock management, budgeting, visual merchandising, etc.
I had to complete research and modules in all these areas and present this to my coach and the area manager.

In April 2007 I transferred to Due South Canal Walk as an admin manager. A new ball game in terms of their product offering, customer target market, etc. As an admin manager my duties included the accuracy of all administration, point of sale activities and staff scheduling. At the beginning of July
I received my first promotion and was offered to run my first store – Due South Somerset Mall. A very challenging and daunting task which I grabbed with both hands!

(In January 2008 I was promoted to HR Trainee as working in HR has always been a passion of mine).
